Christite skill training activity is an innovative programme conducted every Wednesday morning for half an hour to help the students explore their hidden talents, organization skill and polish their inherent creative abilities. Such participation is helping the students to enhance their soft skills, spoken English, communication skills, self confidence, self esteem, social interaction team work and team spirit. The class counselors play a key role in motivation and guiding their class students to conduct the programme. A special word of appreciation for all the class counsellors for making a sincere effort in training the students to maintain the standard. Unique feature of the programme is that every student of the class is motivated and encouraged to take part and to deliver their part only in English.
Christ College organizes a one-day social awareness program & Kangu’ in association with the N.G.O. ‘THEE’ every year. It sensitizes the students on various levels relating to socio / political aspects and current issues.
Discovering one’s unique talents, interests, and abilities is an important step in learning how to live a purposeful life devoted to civic service. The college, therefore, should be to guide students to engage in self-exploration. The institution makes the integration of student interest and academic development a primary focus in helping students to come to know themselves.
